Ashley is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Certified Music Therapist whose work is rooted in authentic connection, safety, and walking alongside people through life’s challenges. At the core of her work is a deep respect for human resilience and the innate capacity everyone has for healing.
Ashley completed her Master of Counselling at City University in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Capilano University. In her current role as Transition Coordinator, she supports clients to move through counselling services with safety and stability, helping with practical needs such as accessing resources, completing applications, and navigating systems such as financial support, food security, and domestic violence services. Her previous roles include working with individuals facing intersecting barriers such as houselessness, poverty, substance use, and complex mental health challenges, as well as people living with Parkinson Disease and their care partners.
Ashley’s approach is collaborative and based on client strengths, drawing on client-centered and trauma-informed approaches. Her focus is always led by the client’s story. She believes that the stories people tell about themselves and others hold power and that these stories can shift making space for healing. Ashley shows up with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to meeting people exactly where they are.

Outside of her professional work, Ashley can be found adventuring with her dog, making music, or settling with a good cup of tea. She believes deeply in the power of human connection and the quiet courage it takes to ask for support.
